Comedy is memorable. For those of us trying to make our clients’ work stand out from amongst the rest of what’s out there, humor is one of the easiest ways to gain an audience.
Trigon gained some positive PR and branding with this piece (26K+ views so far).
But, does it increase sales? It may be that Trigon understands that while sales may or may not increase directly, building positive PR will increase customer loyalty and may tip the balance in any insurance decision stalemates. Or, it could well be that it’s actually directly increasing their sales, but I find that highly unlikely. The YouTube audience is not one that would normally be great for converting insurance leads.
