I do a fair amount of research on the web and I usually find good articles on a lot of topics useful to my business. Here’s one that’s so good I printed it out and put it in my “keeper” file.
Tom Richard, the author of this article has some fantastic advice for getting better results from your voice mail and email efforts.
One thing he suggests (and I agree with) is to avoid being BORING! There’s nothing worse than getting a voice mail from a salesperson that sound just like every other salesperson’s voice mail you’ve heard. If you’re so inclined, be funny. At least be helpful and provide some information and a REASON to call you back.
