In doing some research on a couple of statistics I’m writing about, I
visited colleague Colleen Francis’ Engage Selling Solutions site. What
I found is a wonderful article you can read which will shed some
insight into having a better sales year this year.
February is a good time to assess, since it is still early and you can make tweaks and shifts before the first quarter has ended and only 3/4 of the year left. Now is the time for review.
I’d highly recommend reviewing her 15 Questions to see how much in alignment you are. Thanks, Colleen, for this list!
Don’t forget to do a check-in with yourself on Monday, then a review on Friday – asking yourself, “am I confusing activity with accomplishment?” and “is what I am doing leading to more sales opportunities?”
Then answer, and listen to what you have to say. If your job is to generate new revenue, then kep that focus, with no excuses.
