In my month to master the use of Twitter (or at least get to learn my way around) I have not seen much about how sales pros and sales teams are using it.
It seems that the fact that you have just 140 characters to say something makes it perfect for scanning tweets of people you are following who are big picture thinkers and change agents. Or sales pros. We keep it short and brief.
