HELPFUL TRAVEL TIPS FROM READERS
Thanks to all those readers who submitted. Here is a sample few, more to come.
THE HARD COPY
Take a photo of your luggage or case before you leave the house. This way, a copy is already in your camera. Then, if your luggage gets lost you can immediately show the lost luggage staff exactly what the missing pieces look like.
If you get a splinter, reach for the plastic tape before resorting to tweezers or a needle. Put tape over the splinter, and then pull the tape off gently. Voila!
At the end of a trip, I use note cards with home or trip pictures to write my thank you messages and to enclose any tips for the staff. I’m sure they enjoy the extra effort and it gives me a chance to share with these helpful folks what my city looks like or how my trip went.
Got a helpful tip to share, do let us know….
