After partnering with Wal-Mart in 2007, to recycle those trademark blue vests into greeting cards, HallMark has another idea for Earth Day. They have developed a “Connections from HallMark” line of greeting cards that are made from sugar. The stock is made from 50% sugar can pulp and 50% recycled paper.
Smaller then the average sized card, the look of the paper will make sure these sweet greetings stand out on the shelf. They’re retailing for 90 cents and are available now at Wal-Mart. HallMark will be rolling out other environmentally friendly options this summer.
