Following the University of Sacramento’s example, The University of Strathclyde has developed a degree program awarding MScs in Environmental Entrepreneurship, which will have its first students in September. Taught at the University’s David Livingston Centre for Sustainability, the degree is expected to attract a diverse group of students. Scientists and engineers, needing to learn how to make their developments more business friendly, will join business people, needing to learn about the scientific and engineering developments that will make their companies more environmentally friendly.
Academic Director, Professor Colin Mason believes that seats in the program will be filled. “The environment is the new entrepreneurial frontier – the smart money is already flowing into this sector.”
