If you go to Google.com and click on the tiny little link that says "Preferences", next to the Search button, you can select how many searches come up on the first page and if you want your clicks to open into a new web page. Pretty nifty. I changed my preferences to give me 50 searches on the first page because in my experience, there is often good stuff beyond the top 10 that are delivered by default.
Thanks for the tip, Dan!
By the way, I typed in my name, with quotes: "denise wakeman" and got over 30,000 hits. That’s from blog posts, blog comments, and submitting articles to hundreds of directories!
