I’m using the modifier “good” in this title even though I haven’t used these tools myself, because they’re from Janine at Vertical Response*, and I trust that she is making a fair call on them. They include:
- An outbound voice messaging tool, which I don’t love, but if users sign up to receive them it could be a useful tool. (Think restaurant calling you with today’s lunch special.)
- A customer service email tracking tool, which every business could use.
- A URL shortner — handy for avoiding URLs that extend beyond one line or for use in a short message tool like Twitter
- A large file transfer tool for the occasions when you need to send a file too large for email. (I could have used this last week!)
Check them out on Janine’s post.
*Vertical Response is a self-service direct marketing tool, which my consulting group uses for its monthly newsletters.
