I am pleased to tell you all about a unique book brought to us from a fellow business blogger.
Here’s what I appreciate about how Adrian thinks – he is at the same time a traditionalist and a rebel. He loathes the status quo and does not flinch to call things as he sees them.
If you want a watered down PC business book, look elsewhere. Adrian’s Slow Leadership is unique and has personality.
Although we did not really talk about his book, Adrian was a guest on my podcast a while back and the conversation was great fun. You can listen to that here. Adrian sent me an advance version of the book and I loved it and endorsed it. I was not surprised that I liked his book because I really enjoy his blog writing.
Adrian gets it – about so many things. And he has a wonderful sense of humor. The book covers a lot of ground in its 23 chapters, such as the following topics:
- The Leader’s Role – the real one
- Go slow to go fast
- Building a healthy work climate
- Time – making wise choices about time
- Dealing with distractions
- Building trust
And much, much, more. Like Adrian, Slow Leadership is lively and frank. Buy the book! You will get a great book and support a generous and smart business blogger.
