As noted in my previous post, I’m off on vacation this week. But before pulling out of town, I did a little research on just why vacations are important.
Here’s five more reasons:
6 – Those same studies found that the extra sleep improved peoples’ reaction times by a whopping 80-percent.
7-Vacations promote bonding with family and friends
8-Vacations give you time to step back and ponder the big picture – what you’re doing with your life, what really matters, and what your next steps should be.
9-Vacations allow you to re-connect with healthier habits – sleeping more, eating better, exercising more regularly.
10- Call it recharging your batteries or healing from burnout, a taking a vacation allows you to find and bring home a fresh perspective on your work.
