I think the right way to answer this question is not to focus on “my” first choice, but the first choice for any given person.
Sorry, for the curveball, but I have never believed in the concept of advertising that focuses on “HOT business opportunities”. Rather, I believe that going into business is a deeply committed relationship, one that requires a great deal of soul searching and reflection. And those two items go way beyond what can be gleaned from a financial statement, an earnings claim, or a business plan focused strictly on the numbers.
Entrepreneurs, whether they are thinking about a franchise or an independent approach to ownership, must achieve entrepreneurial focus and use their knowledge of self to make the best decision.
