Small Business on Facebook is growing dramatically. This post is a quick listing of excellent resources I’ve been using as I continue to improve and learn about Facebook. One cannot know it all or claim to and these helpful articles and papers and videos can help you get a handle on the social media rocket.
A small tip that I have not seen many businesses implement on their Facebook pages is the ability to choose on which tab a person lands. Most people assume that a prospect or customer or Fan, as Facebook calls them, has to land on “The Wall.” But you can select one of the other tabs as the “landing page” for your Facebook Page or Public Profile.
It isn’t amazing, but can see how I did it at my company Facebook page: Q4 Sales Facebook Page for Online Marketing Resources. Plus, here’s the screenshot of the area where you can select a different landing page, so to speak. I believe it is better to land on a place other than the Wall.
Okay, here are the resources I mentioned above:
Visa Business Network. I’ve been impressed with their efforts on Facebook. For a big company, they’ve hit the mark with small businesses.
Flyte New Media offered a good summary.
