– I have often seen the technique used where a higher up is led to believe an idea is his own but rarely seen it the other way around. You, as a leader, allowing your employees to think that they came up with an idea is a great twist. You demonstrate to the employee that they are empowered and this makes them happier and more dedicated to you. Of course, you need to be careful not to let egos get to big or your employees will wonder why they are not out doing all of this for themselves instead of you. -ed.
