To seek out and reward innovative small businesses for a smart use of technology, Dell and the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) are teaming up for the 3rd year with the launch of the 2006 Dell / NFIB Small Business Excellence Award program. The award honors small businesses that represent a spirit of innovation in applying information technology in their business practices to improve the customer experience.
If you are an owner, president, or chief executive of a small company with 100 employees or less that has driven a significant change or developed a competitive advantage in delivering superior customer value and experience, Dell wants to hear your story.
The winner and nine finalists will be announced in June 2006. Deadline for submission is February 24, 2006. No purchase or fee is required. The lucky winner will get (1) A day with Dell to share best practices, including time with Michael Dell (2) $30,000 in technology and services from Dell (3) Recognition at the NFIB National Small-Business Summit in Washington D.C. (4) Lifetime NFIB membership. And the top nine finalists will win a Dell Latitude notebook and a one year NFIB membership.
