Everybody needs some down time or ‘quiet time’ when they can just relax and not pay attention to pressing matters. Too often we busy ourselves out and don’t bother to take some time out. Taking a little quiet time can help re-energize and rejuvenate you.
Turn off the cell phone. Take a walk. Walk the dog. Take a nap. It doesn’t have to make big dent in your day. You can often get by with 20 minutes of down time. If you work on a schedule, put a block of quiet time on it!
A lot of home-based business people I’ve talked to don’t even allow themselves a lunch break during their day. Make sure to take some down time each day; it’s a great way to relieve work day stress!
