Plastinum Polymer Technologies Corp. is moving to
Plastinum, which trades on the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol PLNU, says that it can give its E-waste customers full recycling capability.
As well as using BLENDYMER, a polymer processing technology that fuses previously incompatible polymers into a new thermoplastic material, Plastinum is to commercialize the technology through applications in the virgin plastic markets, or polymer alloys.
This may be an avenue for anyone else who deals in certain plastics that currently end up in landfill or is burnt, a toxic environmental practice. Plastinum says it can treat various types of plastic scrap without the need for chemical additives or separation of the plastics.
States are increasingly addressing the laws that govern E-waste recycling. In June, the Electronic Industries Alliance put forward a national recycling program for household televisions and IT equipment.
