I like to think this blog is at the intersection of customer service and small business. The customer service part is obvious, but you may not know that Allbusiness.com is a Web site for small businesses. So my readers come here either because they enjoy reading business-related blogs and/or they’re looking for information on how to be more effective in improving their businesses.
Here’s a topic that is relevant to both groups. Kyle, over at Lifehack, blogs about a new search engine called Greener. This may be the quickest way for someone to search for environmentally friendly products, information, and resources.
Going green is good for business, both from a profit and loss point of view and from the customer service perspective.
Newer building materials, alternative energy including improved solar cells, compact fluorescent light bulbs, etc., all can cut your expenses.
Many customers also think “green” and will do business with you if you’re green and your competitors aren’t.
If you’re interested in investigating how using green resources can benefit you, Greener will be a big help.
Check it out. Because if you don’t, and your competitors do, you may become “green” with envy.
