Mistakes: can’t do business with ’em and yet we can’t quite escape them. Yet mistakes are made in the course of running a home-based business. Big blunders and small bloopers. The big ones, you’re more likely to remember but what about the lesser ones? Do you make note of them? The value of a mistake made is learning from it so that you don’t make it again.
That’s why I write them down, making physical note of them. I keep my mistakes in a general business operations document. But different things might work for different people. Maybe you need a “mistake file” – whatever works. But if you just forget about the mistake, you might run the risk of making the same mistake again. So don’t be shy – face up to those mistakes, make note of them and move on.
