With some minor delays, I made it into Chicago last night and hit up Harry Carey’s for some Chicago style steak with a friend from the UK. After a short pub visit after it was early to bed in prep for the SES conference. Today is the first day of the Chicago Search Engine Strategies conference and it is COLD. That says a lot since I’m from Minnesota, where it’s actually colder.
This looks like it will be a great conference and I plan on attending the following sessions today:
Advertising Track – Earning From Search & Contextual Ads
Vertical Track – Global Search Landscape
Advanced Track – Advanced Search Term Research Tools
I will be posting on some/all of these sessions, so watch this blog for updates. The Search Engine Strategies conference lasts today through Thursday.
Afterwards, there is a party sponsored by SEMPO and there are plans to announce some of the findings from the annual SEMPO search marketing survey which should be very interesting.
