The Cranky Middle Manager Podcast talks to author Gary Neilson, author of Results. I talked to Craig a couple months ago and he is a real interesting guy – I recommend you check the podcast out.
Gary and his company, Booz Allen Hamilton, have been working with organizations to determine the overarching style of the organization. On their website, you can take a quick survey that allows you to determine the style of your organization. I did this for an organization I used to work for and it profiled, Passive Aggressive (which nailed it).
On the podcast, they discuss differences in perceptions between senior management and middle management.

It is funny how small this large blogsphere is on some days, Wayne, the host of the Cranky Middle Manager, commented on Dave’s review and referred to when I was a guest on his show.
