I like it when I see small business working together; it’s an inspiring group dynamic. That’s why I really liked this story out of Copenhagen today. The city center shops have started a green collaboration. The collaboration’s focus is to see more fairtrade products on members’ shelves, diminish non-essential packaging, get rid of plastic bags and attract more organic stores to the area. The shops involved with the project will obviously benefit from the increased exposure and goodwill, so hopefully the idea will spread It’s the kind of concept that can be transplanted to almost any downtown or shopping center.
