I am writing this email to SBA to express my true appreciation for the April 6th Telemarketing class lead by Tony Wilkins. I had been stuck with how to start my phone calls, for my event planning company; and Tony was able to get me to break through that barrier, and get me on a productive path. Since this class I have made some very significant steps.
Tony has a way of generating creative thinking that absolutely lets you flow to the next level. Tony taught us steps from picking up the phone; walked us through various dialogues, to getting a meeting (which has worked for me with Garter Dataquest — thanks!!) He has a way of individualizing the telemarketing business that “just fits” for the different business types. Tony’s teaching wasn’t limited to phone calls; he also provided critical information for lead lists, to which I am thankful.
I am typically very shy in a class setting, but Tony had a way of making the class feel comfortable and I actually participated — to which I gained immense personal gain from.

I would like to thank you for all the support and additional help that you have given me. The initial workshop that I attended was VERY informative. I was able to get a much better understanding of how I needed to approach the development of my company. I will be able to use the resources that you provided in the meeting on and on-going basis. I think for any business, established or just starting out that this is a very important key. To be able to refer back to something and not just have a “one time” use for it is a way for me to keep my business in the front of my industry.
The additional individual training session that I took part in with you has really helped me with my “cold calling”. I took away from that meeting realizing what I really wanted to do with my company instead of what I was doing. You were able to see where my heart was at in my business and work off of that. Thank you for sending me a personal e-mail, and I am the one who should be thanking you for the seminar. I really did learn a lot about what I can do to improve on my phone skills. Keep me posted on what you and Daniel are planning on doing. I know he told me that he was upset that he didn’t get your book that day, and that he missed his chance to get you to sign it. Hopefully we will be working with you in the future so we can both get that opportunity again. I know you asked me to do a Review of the seminar for you. So here it goes, feel free to edit my review in any way to make it sound even better. Also, below that, I will type my script that I was trying to remember while I was in session with you. I wished after the meeting that I could have brought it with me so you could have giving me some pointers on making it better. I know you are extremely busy so no rush at all. Tony Wilkins seminar was the most educational, thought provoking, and helpful training I have experienced in my career pertaining to success in telemarketing. I learned more in his two hour class than other seminars have taught me in several days. The two hours of class time flew by faster than a fifteen minute break at work. I honestly walked in thinking I knew a lot about telemarketing, I did not. However, I left the meeting reenergized and focused on becoming a better telemarketer.
