For those businesses in the midwest that want to really take a crash course in all things search marketing: search engine optimization, PPC, news search SEO, analytics, linking, blog marketing, you name it – then Danny Sullivan’s Search Engine Strategies Conference in Chicago next week is the event for you.
Of course I’m biased, since I’m in the industry and both myself and one of my employees from my search engine optimization firm TopRank, will be speaking at the conference, but there really is no other search engine conference with as many learning options on the fast moving, often changing subject of marketing through search engines.
Danny Sullivan is THE MAN when it comes to search engines. He’s put on many, many conferences all over the world educating people on search engines and search marketing. The last SES conference I attended was in San Jose which I was blogging live for AllBusiness.com. There were over 2,000 people at the conference and 6,000 people at the tradeshow.
Definitely check out the conference and if you’re in Chicago, stop by the downtown Hilton next week to check out the exhibit hall or for the whole conference. If you do attend the conference, then stop by on day two for the News Search SEO session. I am part of that panel along with the top people working in online PR and press release optimization including: Greg Jarboe, Nan Dawkins and Sally Falkow.
If you’re keen on learning more about global search engine marketing, then check out the Global Search Strategies session on Day one. TopRank’s SEO Manager, David Temple is speaking on that panel along with several of the top names in multilingual search marketing.
There’s more information on the conference at the SES conference site and blog.
I will be blogging several of the SES sessions Mon-Wed so watch this space for great insight on search engine optimization and marketing from some of the top people in the field.
