Would you like to be better informed about the best way to supervise and retain talented management trainees? If so, then consider participating in a survey being conducted by the David F. Miller Center for Retailing Education at the University of Florida.
Sponsored by the National Retail Federation Foundation and the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the study will examine human resources (HR) management practices and the relationships of these practices to the retention of talented management trainees in early career stages.
There are four benefits to participating, according to the David F. Miller Center:
Benchmarking: Participating retailers will be able to benchmark their own HR programs and management trainees against those of other retailers.
Hiring Decisions: The survey will help pinpoint personality traits likely to lead to high performance.
Management Training: The survey will assist in identifying the characteristics of effective management training programs.
Reduced Turnover: The survey will identify characteristics of new hires that make them susceptible to turnover.
