Well I have not been blogging very much the past few days; for that I apologize and will try to get back on track here. As the old saying goes "too many irons in the fire". (Thanks Jay for reminding me of that one).
Faux Pas – or.. Don´t do this:
I received a card from one of our manufacturer´s reps yesterday to say she was leaving and turning the rep showroom over to someone else. She wrote: "I have become very found of working with each of you".
Please carefully proof your stuff if you send out ‘from-the-heart’ notes (otherwise they won´t look from the heart).
I signed up for a well known Search Engine Optimization site with a one year subscription (they shall go nameless to save face for them). I got my confirmation email saying that my credit card was charged and gave my user id and password. It provided a link to login. Guess what? The link was broken! After scouting around the site for a bit, I found the member login (among other broken links) and discovered the user id and password did not work. What´s this? If you have a subscription-based site please make sure it works (especially if you´re an SEO site!)
