A bit behind on my next Allbusiness author book feature which will be Lisa Hanenberg’s “Two Weeks to A Breakthrough”, so I’m posting some good books for you to read in the meantime! Lisa’s book is a very inspiring read, but more about that later!
“Stop Pushing Me Around: A workplace guide for the timid, shy and less assertive” by Ilise Benun is a fantastic book that provides a wealth of information and actionable tips in regard to overcoming and conquering your shyness in the workplace and beomcing more assertive and successful by doing so. Benun is a highly regarded marketing consultant and Principal of Marketing Mentor and Creative Marketing and Management.
Another interesting and quick read is the book “Fish!A Remarkable Way to Boost Morale and Improve Results” by Stephen C. Lundin, Ph.D., Harry Paul and John Christensen. The book was originally published in 2000 but it’s still really a great read on how to inspire passion in your workplace.
And last, a book by Florence M. Stone, “Coaching, Counseling & Mentoring: How to Choose and Use the Right Technique to Boost Employee Performance” is filled with real stories and best approaches to managing diverse employees. The book was published by American Management Association.
