“The Democrats and the Republicans are inviting a limited number of bloggers – those witty, candid, irreverent, passionate, shrewd and outrageous Internet chroniclers – to their 2004 conventions. It’s a gesture of respect for the growing influence of the blogosphere, and if ever there were events ideally suited to bloggers, the heavily scripted and tensionless conventions top the list. ”
– This is a little off topic but it is good to see that Bloggers are starting to play a more serious role. The writer of the article seems to have some envy problems, and most of the descriptions he has of where blogs are heading seems to be where mainstream media already is. I would rather be manipulated by the many and average out somewhere near the truth then manipulated by the few, like the old school media, and arrive nowhere near the real truth. -ed.
