Several book on business blogging have been and are being written. Some, of course, have more value than others. One such book that will hit the shelves very soon is BlogMarketing, authored by my friend Jeremy Wright.
You may recall Jeremy as the blogger who sold himself (actually his services) on eBay a year or so ago. While that may seem like a shameless publicity stunt I assure you there’s much more to Jeremy than that. He’s one of the most popular tech bloggers on the scene today and his Ensight.org blog is highly trafficked to the tune of 100,000 visitors (or more) a month.
Jeremy’s new book, published by McGraw-Hill, is a testament to his understanding of how to use blogs in the business spectrum. If you’d like to get some insight as to the value of the book a chapter is available for download. There is also a blog associated with the book which gives more information.
I’ll write a more thorough review when I get my copy, which is available for pre-order on Amazon. For now, let me say from what I have read, that the book is sure to be a best-seller not because of publicity stunts, but because it has something of value to add to the ongoing conversation of how businesses can use blogs for marketing purposes.
