There is no shortage of new communities and business forums where people can congregate. Last week, I talked about BizSugar (the new social bookmarking service for biz owners). This week, I’ve been spending time at BigThink (great name, huh?) with a great tagline: Get to know.
Big Think is a cool new collection of experts, many of whom you’ll recognize and appreciate. I’ve been watching Tom Stewart’s video interviews about new technology. You’ll find Harrison Ford, Esther Dyson, Anita Campbell, and a host of others in all sorts of categories, not just business and finance.
From their site: The Idea
“In the global digital age,
there is a glut of accessible information. And while this information
empowers you, the citizen-consumer, the only way to make any sense of
it, is to begin an interactive relationship with the global thought
leaders who can deliver the best news and analysis on the Web. Welcome
to Big Think.”
One of the cool things is that they are open to less famous experts, like the rest of us! But there’s room for comments and discussions. It is a quickly growing community worth checking out. We’ve been voting them up at BizSugar and elsewhere.
