I told you about my awards program last week. Here’s more information:
They collectively run Never Work Alone, a site dedicated to helping managers solve problems. All three are also big fans of finding and sharing new ideas.
I said that I was not going to tell you the prizes, but several of you have been hounding me for the details. 🙂 So here’s a bit more information:
The grand prize winner will recieve several wonderful things including awesome software, gift certificates, and stuff valued at several hundred dollars. The three runners up will recieve one cool software program and one other item valued at close to $200. Really, these are fabulous prizes! I will tell you one of the prizes now:
The grand prize winner AND the runners up will receive a full copy of StyleWriter. This program, which I use and swear by, retails for $160USD. StyleWriter helps improve your writing and will make you look great! Before I send a manuscript to my publisher, I use StyleWriter to polish my writing and catch any boo-boos. This thing catches boo-boos that I did not even know were boo-boos. Also, yes, it works using American or British English (they are a UK company).
And there are many other fabulous prizes!
The title of the award program is: Best Management Ideas, so I want to hear your ideas for the practices, habits, techniques, hacks, and gadgets that are helping you do your job. Here’s what I am looking for in entries.
- Share a new habit you have adopted that is making your work more productive or stress free.
- Share techniques you use to reduce your daily stress while at work.
- Tell us about a new gadget that is making your work life simpler and more effective.
- Share techniques that you picked up from a book or training sesson that really work.
You do not need to be the creator of the technique or habit, by the way. Your entry might say:
