While at the FAA Learning Center yesterday, I noticed that they put a single page newsletter on the back of the bathroom stall doors. It had a clever name using the word "Stall" in it that I cannot remember. It’s a cool idea.
I got to thinking about whether I would want someone to print out and post my newsletter on the back of the bathroom stall door. Sure! The objective is to reach and help more people, so why not? In thinking about the printing and posting option, I have decided to keep the amount of saturated color to a minimum.
The first issue of Management Craft – the newsletter – will be out next week. You can read a bit more about it and sign up to receive the first issue here.
I think it is good to get creative with how information is shared. Where does your company post or share learning information? The bulletin boards are a logical choice, but what about:
- With paychecks
- Intranet home pages
- Break rooms
- Meeting Rooms
- By the copiers
- In general, where people wait…..
