“A consultant recently told me that I would gain credibility and, consequently, more solid clients if I doubled or even tripled my own consulting rates. My fees are a fraction of my typical competitor’s, even though I provide the same services. I can see the logic of not having bargain-basement fees, but I don’t want to drive away clients who simply are working with a smaller budget.”
– The least you should charge is what you can live on, is my opinion. Anything less and you are wasting your time. Anything more is a great gift and should be rewarded by quality and service. -ed.
