Attn retail managers: Are you SURE your frontline sales staff know that, when a customer walks into your store, the staff is to stop building the display or taking inventory, and to wait on the customer?
Or, is this just an assumption on your part because they were “trained” to put customers first?
It might be time for a polite message to managers reminding them that, in this sales climate, customers darn well better come first.
That wouldn’t be expensive, would it?
