Its getting harder to stab your fellow airline passengers with your fork — or spear your food for that matter.
A British company has introduced a line off stainless steel “anti-terror” cutlery for use on airlines. Its going to be served to business travellers initially, but just watch! Those knives, forks and spoons with their rounded rather than a sharp ends, measuring no longer than 2.36 inches (6 centimeters) and tiny prongs will spread to upper and lower classes.
Air India and Jet Airways have placed orders and the Emirates and the British Airports Authority are also considering the cutlery.
TIPS TO USE THESE NEW FOOD IMPLEMENTS:
– Grow your fingernails so you can pick up these small eating tools
– File your teeth so you can cut up the large bits of food in your mouth as you will not be able to cut them with the blunt instruments provided
– Take a lightweight blanket with you to cover your head while eating, as it will be a very messy business indeed.
Oh well, the food´s not that great anyhow.
