It is clear to me that the hospice considered compassion as a core competency. The staff was superbly trained, even those who served food at the cafeteria.
If a hospice can identify a core competency and meld it with effective training then other organizations should be able to do so as well.
My family and I will always remember the staff of the hospice as angels on earth. They greatly exceeded our needs and expectations.
