Yet, speaking of sponsors, I received an email from Bill Lee last week and he was on his continuing hunting expedition. Once again he ran sustain a serious bite and it doesn’t look like he’ll recover anytime soon. He found a new location in
Lee is one of the best concept guys around. He knows the ingredients, finds a location and every place he touches launches with rocket ship velocity and maintains altitude. It is a very tough combination to continually deliver. This new project is sure to be a hot.

I have a feeling, and I have only looked at the website, but can already see the inside of the property, this will be a roll out concept waiting to happen.
Here’s the scenario:
1). Bill opens in
2). He advertises and markets like he usually does and packs the place nightly.
3). The numbers blow the top of the space.
4). He perfects the formula and takes the show on the road, highlighting simple menu, catchy concept, and flavorful, creative drinks -this guy isn’t serving run of the mill Mai Tai’s. This is a mini Trader Vice drink menu waiting to happen.
5). We all have a chance to buy a franchise for a Billy Quon’s Volcano Grill and Mai Tai Bar.
Looking out of my office window, I think I see a for lease sign on top of one of those
