You prepare, you fly, you close the deal, is that it? There are several things to do to wrap up and make the most of your trip.
Keep Track of your receipts for business expenses so you can take part of the trip off your tax.
Collect business cards in a card organizer or you will have a cards sprinkled through your baggage. Cards are great at following up business leads and developing or maintaining business relationships.
Your Travel Checklist
You made a travel checklist before you left home, now make sure you check that you have everything before you leave your hotel. I don’t know how many items I have left sprinkled around the world including favourite and essential items, because I didn’t check .
Before you checkout of your hotel, make sure that your frequent guest account is credited. Whether you are staying at an Accor or a Marriot or any other hotel chain (and most of them offer loyalty points), be sure that your stays are being credited to your frequent guest card so that you can cash in on those points later.
Frequent Flier Miles
Ditto for your frequent flyer miles. It is easier to check at the ticket counter than it is when you return from your trip.
