The new Acura RDX shouldn’t be a difficult sell. It’s got bluetooth capabilities and sports (pun intended) an mp3 jack, convenient for all of us who want to bring our iPod with us on the go. While the ads are on the boring side, the CGI used to create them is well done and creates a tech-heavy and smart/sexy branding that is great for this stylish SUV.
There’s no early resonation yet, but the contest they’ve created may change that:
Beginning Aug. 15, users can take a photo of the print RDX ads with their mobile phones, e-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org, and receive a message explaining how to get a CD containing tracks from electronic artists. Users can also enter a sweepstakes to win one of five all-expense-paid trips to Los Angeles.
If not, the public will more than likely fall in love with this sleek SUV that’s so full of technology. It already has a wikipedia entry! I know I want one already…
