As you know, moving to a new town requires an enormous amount of work.
Purchasing a home does the same. Since this is my first home purchase ever I’ve been a little amazed at what all a home owner has to take care of.
For instance, I had no idea that a tree brushing the roof of a house would eventually cause a roof in the hole from the brushing against the materials.
Now I know. Thankfully the tree branch on our roof has not done this, but according to the landscaper who came across the street and introduced himself, I’ve learned.
This post isn’t about trees and roofs, though. Instead, it is about that one single gesture that got the guy the job.
Marketing in a big city can sometimes seem daunting. If you live in Los Angeles as I did, where competition is fierce for many jobs, you sometimes have no idea where to begin.
Here in Georgia, though, I was reminded of how easy marketing can be.
You really have to do one thing: Talk.
