Just wanted to pass along a few quick tips that I heard about from friends of mine. I´ve been using a few of them and they do help. I just have to remember to do them. I guess that´s the hardest part about organization: actually implementing the great ideas that everyone passes along!
Use the washcloth that you wash your face with at night to wipe down the bathroom counters in between "real´ cleanings.
Use the towel that you just dried off with to wipe down the bathroom floor.
Wash down all veggies and fruits as soon as you get them home so you won´t have to do this when it´s time to cook.
Cut all veggies after washing them down and place into baggies so they are ready to be used when it´s time to make dinner.
Put like utensils in the same holder in the dishwasher (knives with knives, small forks with small forks, big forks with big forks) so that you can pull them out by the group and put them away quickly.
Quick-clean one room of your house per day in between "big cleanings.´ Use only five to ten minutes and do whatever you can do. Start with what has to be done first and then move on to the rest. (For example, wipe down kitchen counters first, then sweep, then move on to the rest of the kitchen until your time has run out). Set a timer so that you don´t go over that amount of time.
