A couple of handy tools here for the small business’s website or blog. These are easy to use, free, and have a simple sign-up process if any.
Feedblitz: While RSS is a great little technology, lots of people have no idea what it is or how to use it. Feedblitz lets your web site visitors sign up for a daily email digest of all new posts to your blog (or other RSS feed). If there aren’t any new posts the email won’t be sent. A code snippet which creates a mini form for readers to sign-up for an email digetst can easily generated on the Feedblitz site and easily pasted into a blog or web page.
hint: You can modify the code snippet’s message text to your needs. Just look at the snippet and edit the default message text.
dPolls: dPolls is a service that lets you create a small web polling widget. You create the poll, choose the options including multiple choice answers, and then paste the provided code snippet into your website or blog. You can monitor results from the dPolls website or have results sent to you via email.
