I have just wrapped up NationLink’s Q1 quarterly reviews – this is never fun for me or the employees but continually proves to be a most valuable tool for me to engage each person, discover things that need to be done, get them focused on what needs to be done and get their buy-in on the company’s goals. Three things we always ask them to bring are 1. 3 Goals they set last quarter and how they progressed on them (including what held them up or helped them complete them) 2. 3 Goals for the next three months (including any resources they need to get them done) and 3. 3 things that management can do to make their “experience” EASIER. I have a nice form that gets emailed out one week prior to these meetings that each person fills out and brings me an extra copy – email me email@example.com and I will send you a copy of what we use – NOTE: you have to be sure you take the feedback, solve any challenges fast and fulfill your commitments – if you don’t they will stop bringing them to you.
Areas of Expertise: Business Coaching
As the founder of Petra Coach, Andy Bailey can cut through organizational BS faster than a hot knife through butter, showing organizations the logjams thwarting their success and coaching them past the excuses we all use to avoid doing what needs to be done. Andy learned how to build great organizations by building a great business, which he started in college, then grew into an Inc. 500 multi-million dollar national company that he successfully sold and exited. He founded Petra to pass on to other entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders the principles and practices he used to build his successful enterprise, which are rooted in the Rockefeller Habits methodology. Andy serves in an advisory role on the Gazelles Council, The Leaders of the ScaleUp Movement.
