Promote Free Photo Night at your restaurant or bar, or Free Photo Day at your
store, or simply add it as a feature to another event, such as Family Day, Bike
Night or Lunch with Santa.
Take advantage of the revolution in photo technology. For a few hundred
dollars, you can buy a digital camera and a photo printer. With most photo
printers, you just take the little disk out of the camera, pop it into the
printer, and hit print. You’ll have a quality color picture in minutes.
Create a fun backdrop in your restaurant, with your restaurant name
prominently displayed, and offer a free photo or two to your guests. You can
also have your company mascot available for photo ops, or have a roaming
photographer take pictures at tables. Include the server, who can sign and date
it. Present it with the check, and watch gratuities rise.
If you prefer, use a regular film camera. Take it to get it processed (Get
double prints and a photo disk) and give them a call to let them know their
prints can be picked up on their next visit, and the digitals can be emailed if
they prefer. This is a great way to ask for their contact info for your
database, and to have them sign a photo release so you can use it on your
website in your marketing.
