PMCA partners with PSU.

STATE COLLEGE, PA -- PMCA has been asked by Penn State University to assist them in the development of an expanded confectionery program for their new Food Science building here.

The areas where PMCA has identified it can help include:

* layout of a multi-scale pilot plant

for all types of confectionery manufacture and packaging

* work with suppliers to obtain new equipment and ingredients for the plant

* assist in developing the curriculum for an industry-certified two-year associate's degree in confectionery technology

* help develop and coordinate industry-certified educational and training programs that would be eligible for continuing education credits.
