Harry Goldenberg dies at 95.

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Harry Goldenberg, son of David Goldenberg, the founder of Goldenberg Candy Co., died in April at age 95.

Active his entire life in the family business, he was the driving force in developing Goldenberg's Peanut Chews.

Goldenberg served on the board of the National Confectioners Association, and was past president of the Pennsylvania Manufacturing Confectioners Association. Goldenberg was inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1976.

He is survived by two sons, Carl and Edgar, a daughter, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a sister.
