NRC Appoints New Enforcement Office Director.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) recently announced the appointment of Michael Johnson as head of the agency's Office of Enforcement.
According to NRC, Johnson, who assumes the position on May 30, will oversee NRC enforcement programs as well as manage the agency's external
NRC noted that Johnson, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, has worked at the agency in various positions for 19 years. Prior to this appointment, he served as deputy director of NRC's Systems Safety and Analysis Division.
