GE Energy to Supply Control Systems to Taiwan Nuclear Plant.
GE Energy's Nuclear business recently announced it has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to upgrade monitoring and control systems at Taiwan Power Company's Chin Shan Nuclear Power Station in Taipei County, Taiwan.
GE Energy said it is supplying the company with its power range neutron monitoring (PRNM) system based on GE's digital nuclear measurement analysis and control (NUMAC) technology.
"GE has long supported Taiwan Power Company's mission of providing the public with an abundant, affordable, stable and reliable supply of power," said GE's Nuclear business president and CEO Andy White. "We are honored to have the opportunity to enhance our partnership with Taiwan Power."
