Managers and directors of major art festivals in Latin America visited Japan earlier this year to attend a study tour of Japanese performing arts organized by the Japan Foundation. Held August 15-28, the tour attracted nine people from nine countries, namely Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
