ARCADIS (Nasdaq:ARCAF; ASE:ARCAD) today announced that it has appointed Henk W.M.W. ten Cate, age 47, as Corporate Director Finance. The appointment fills a vacancy that had been created by the departure

Mr. Ten Cate has extensive experience in finance, both in the Netherlands and internationally. Mr. Ten Cate is currently Group Director Financial Affairs of Heijmans N.V. headquartered in Rosmalen, the Netherlands. Prior to his current position, he fulfilled several functions with other firms, including that of Group Director of Advanta Seeds, the international seeds division of Cosun. Prior to that he worked with Unilever for an extended period, both in the Netherlands and abroad, most recently in the position of Financial Manager for a British subsidiary of the company.

Mr. Ten Cate has a degree in econometrics from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, as well as a degree in accountancy from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
